Pet Cremation - Allentown, Pennsylvania
Pet Cremation in Allentown, PA
The Allentown and Lehigh Valley pet cremation market is built around one dominant independent crematory in Hellertown, which most local funeral homes route to, plus an owner-run pet cemetery in Mertztown and pickup services that come to your home. Not one provider in the metro publishes prices online, so the whole market is quote-by-phone, priced by weight and by whether you choose private or communal. There is no local water cremation, and because the crematories sit on the edges of the metro rather than in Allentown proper, home pickup is the practical way in for many families.

Our Recommended Providers in Allentown
We reviewed the available options and selected these providers based on transparency, communication, and value.
Lehigh Valley Animal Crematory
Best for families who want to deal directly with the region's main crematory and the option to be present.
Contact for pricing
Lehigh Valley Animal Crematory in Hellertown is the metro's dominant independent crematory, cremating in house on its own equipment with a numbered-tag chain of custody, and it is the facility most local funeral homes route to. It offers private and communal cremation, and rare among local providers, a witnessed cremation with same-day return in four to six hours, plus a viewing.
One thing to know: It publishes no prices, so every quote is by phone, based on weight and whether you choose private or communal. It does not offer aquamation, burial or in-home euthanasia, and it is in Hellertown, so Allentown families either drive or pay for pickup.
Keystone Pet Cemetery
Best for families who want a burial plot or a cemetery to visit, not only cremation.
Contact for pricing
Keystone Pet Cemetery is an owner-operated independent offering what the crematories do not: private and communal pet burial and actual cemetery plots alongside cremation, open 24 hours a day. It also coordinates in-home euthanasia through a partner across the Lehigh Valley, Berks and Bucks counties.
One thing to know: It publishes no prices, quoting by phone, and its website is minimal, with no turnaround or process detail. It is in Mertztown on the Berks County edge, a drive from central Allentown, and it does not offer aquamation.
Paws to Heaven Pet Crematory
Best for families who cannot drive their pet in and want home or veterinary pickup.
Contact for pricing
Paws to Heaven is a family-owned crematory that serves Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton through home and veterinary-clinic pickup, useful when transport is the barrier. It offers both private and communal cremation and memorial products, with an established operation and a strong review record.
One thing to know: It publishes no prices, quoting by phone, and the crematory itself is in Pennsauken, New Jersey, so your pet leaves the metro and the turnaround is not published. Its former Philadelphia location has closed, so confirm current pickup scheduling when you call.
