Our Recommended Providers in Phoenix
We reviewed the available options and selected these providers based on transparency, communication, and value.
AquaCrossings
Best for families who want a Phoenix-area facility with clearly priced private and communal packages.
Typical range
$195 to $495
package
AquaCrossings serves all of Arizona from its Tempe and Tucson centers. The Tempe location is about 8 miles from central Phoenix, welcomes scheduled drop-offs and tours, and publishes communal packages at $195 or $295 with pickup and private packages at $295 or $495.
One thing to know: The $295 basic private package does not include home pickup or return delivery, while the $495 VIP package does. The site does not publish a turnaround time or a policy for witnessing the aquamation.
A Greener Place
Best for families who want the lowest published no-return price or weight-based individual pricing.
Typical range
$45 to $349
medium dog
This family-owned Mesa facility publishes no-return aquamation from $45 to $190 and individual aquamation with ashes returned from $75 to $349. Individual service includes a simple urn, nameplate and ink paw print; pickup starts at $50 within 15 miles, then adds $2 per mile.
One thing to know: The lowest figures are for pets weighing 0 to 2 pounds, so most dogs cost more. Turnaround and witnessing are not published, and pickup from much of Phoenix adds mileage charges.
Harmony Pet Aquamation
Best for families who want daily home pickup and a provider focused only on pet aquamation.
Contact for pricing
Harmony operates its own aquamation system in Mesa and names Greater Phoenix as its service area. It offers both individual and communal service, holds pets in a cooler rather than a freezer, and offers home pickup every day from 8am to 8pm.
One thing to know: No prices are published. The site says drying adds a day or two after aquamation, but it does not state the complete turnaround or whether families may witness placement.
Questions Worth Answering Before You Call
Compare what the posted number buys. AquaCrossings lists $195 communal, $295 communal with pickup, $295 basic private and $495 VIP private. A Greener Place ranges from $45 to $190 with no ashes returned and $75 to $349 for individual care, all by weight. Harmony does not publish prices.
Start with geography. AquaCrossings is about 8 miles from central Phoenix, A Greener Place about 15 and Harmony about 26. AquaCrossings and A Greener Place take drop-offs and arrange pickup; Harmony offers home pickup daily from 8am to 8pm.
Ask for the return date and whether you can be present. Harmony says drying adds a day or two after the process, but none of the three publishes a complete turnaround or an aquamation-witness policy. AquaCrossings offers tours by appointment and A Greener Place has a private grieving room, which are different from witnessing placement.
Know about Lasting Paws before deciding. Its page at 3629 N 40th Ave lists individual and communal aquamation in Phoenix, while other current pages say aquamation is only in Colorado. Lasting Paws is owned by Gateway Services, a national corporate aftercare network, and we do not recommend it; confirm whether Phoenix aquamation is actually active if your veterinarian suggests it.
