Aquamation - Tucson, Arizona
Pet Aquamation in Tucson, AZ
Tucson has two water-cremation facilities with different tradeoffs: Kindred Spirits is about 5 driving miles from the city center and posts weight-based prices, while Cholla Afterlife is about 13 miles away and describes a private goodbye option. Because Cholla does not show an accessible full aquamation price table, compare its quote with Kindred's posted tiers.
Our Recommended Providers in Tucson
We reviewed the available options and selected these providers based on transparency, communication, and value.
Kindred Spirits Pet Services
Best for families wanting posted aquamation prices and a Tucson veterinary team.
Typical range
$130 to $225
medium dog
Kindred Spirits operates its own aquamation system at 3544 N Romero Road in Tucson. For a 20-to-69-pound dog it posts $130 to $145 communal and $210 to $225 individual care with ashes returned. The individual package includes a clay paw print and fur clipping, and the provider estimates 10 to 14 days for return.
One thing to know: The listed aquamation prices exclude collection: pickup or return from a Tucson veterinary office adds $50, and metro home pickup or return adds $100, with more for outlying areas. Aquamation takes longer than flame cremation; the site does not make a standing promise to witness the process.
Cholla Afterlife
Best for families seeking a Tucson water-cremation facility with a visit option.
Contact for pricing
Cholla Afterlife performs communal, compartment-separated individual and sole-pet private water cremation at its Tucson facility. Its site offers a $75 Quiet Moment, a private 15-minute goodbye before the water process, and describes viewing or visitation options.
One thing to know: A weight-based aquamation price table was not accessible on the current site, so request separate quotes for each care level and for pickup. The $75 Quiet Moment is an add-on, not an aquamation price. Its posted return-time claim should be confirmed for the chosen package.
